About Doe Run, MO - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Doe Run is an unincorporated community in Missouri located about 3 miles outside of Farmington.  Once a booming mining town, the area is now a quiet and rural region that enjoys a slower pace of life.  It is the perfect place to build a ranch on some acreage to retire.  Or, spend your younger years raising a family in a safe and quiet area.  The seasonal weather means kids can run in the sprinkler in the summer or sled in the winter.  It is a lovely place for those who want a simple and humble way of life.

Lead was discovered in the area in the late 19th century and that is where its history in mining is rooted. Citizens love to give back to the town and enjoy their associates and neighbors at municipal occasions and events. Because the town is so close to Farmington, many residents spend a lot of time in Farmington, as well. You will always see them out and about on events like the annual Farmington Marching Invitational, the Farmington Downtown Development Association’s annual Fall Festival, and the Mineral Area Walk to End Alzheimer’s.  In every season, this little community is the picture-perfect place to nurture a growing family, spend your life, or retire.

A variant, seasonal climate means that your little ones can enjoy the summer sun one month and, just a few months later, be sledding through the vast rural fields. This type of living harkens back to a humbler, relaxed period in American history.  Of course, Midwesterners are well-known for their friendliness and neighborly attitudes.  It is certainly quiet and a bit rural but, for many, this is a welcome change from urban crime and noise.  Safe streets, affordable homes, good schools and a quiet way of life are at the top of a lot of people’s priority lists these days.
